We made these Scotch Eggs for a party recently.  They were a huge success.  Sausagemeat is flavoured with lemon zest, a little fresh sage and some grated nutmeg.  We then wrap that round a boiled egg, roll it in panko breadcrumbs, and fry.  Yummy!  Freshly made and still hot these are quite, quite different to the supermarket offerings, especially if dipped in a little mayo.

  1. Those scotch eggs look fantastic. They look so fresh compared to the bland heavy supermarket versions. Is that bacon I can see poking out of the sausage meat? Do you just provide catering for parties in central Scotland or do you travel further afield?
